complete their certification exam. After passing the exam, you will receive an email

How long does it take to complete an IASA Certification Course?

Each course varies in duration, ranging from a 3-5 days, depending on the level and training mode.

Can I take the certification exam without attending training?

No, trainees are required to complete the training before taking the certification exam. The exam will be held on the last day of the training. This ensures that you have gained the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the exam successfully.

How do I maintain the Continuing Education Units (CEU) to keep the digital badge?

It is important to note that to maintain your certification, you must submit Continuing Education Units every two years. lasa credential holders are required to collect at least 80 hours of CEU's (the equivalent of two work weeks) biannually on even numbered years. In combination with obtaining CEU's, the credential holder is also required to have worked as an architect for a period of at least 16-weeks. All CEU's can be submitted at one time or at your convenience within that period.

If a certified architect fulfils the CEU requirement every two years cycle but does not renew his full membership, is the certification still valid?

The membership must be active at the time of renewal; without an active membership, the certification will not be valid
