This course aims to enable learners to design or refine solution blueprint to guide the development of IT solutions in hardware, software, processes or related components to meet current and future business needs. In addition, the solution architecture developed may lead to broad or specific changes to IT services, operating models and process.

  • Develop solution architecture for midsize to large projects.
  • Understand the 4 primary aspects of solution architecture and work with critical stakeholders to deliver them.
  • Function within the team throughout project life cycles to ensure appropriate technology strategy delivery.
  • Deliver solutions regularly based on sound value management techniques.
  • Manage stakeholders and key team members expectations and communications strategy.

This course is designed for IT Architects, Senior IT Professionals, and Project or Program Managers with experience in the IT industry.   • CITA-F certification (mandatory)
  • lasa Associate- Business Technology Strategy certification (highly recommended)

 

Learners should be able to:

  • Read, write and speak English at WSQ WPL Level 6
  • Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 6
  • Communicate effectively and able to engage in classroom discussion
  • Present effectively

 

Certification:

Learners who have met a minimum of 75% attendance, certified competent for the

assessment, and passed the IASA CITA-A in Solution Architecture Exam will receive:

  • Certificate of Completion by ATD Solution
  • Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • Certified IT Architect Associate in Solution Architecture and Digital Badge

1 SkillsFuture Credit (SFC): All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills related courses. Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website (https://www.skillsfuture.gov.sg/Credit) to choose from the courses available on the Training Exchange course directory.

 

2 SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC): Eligible employers will receive a one-off S$10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses. To find out more about SFEC, visit https://www.skillsfuture.gov.sg/sfec

 

3 Absentee Payroll: With effect from 1 Jan 2022, SSG introduce a fixed Absentee Payroll (AP) rate at $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year. Refer to the link here for more information on Absentee Payroll.
