The Business IT Architecture Series (BITAS) 2025 kicked off in Singapore, setting a strong tone for the regional conference series across Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Hong Kong. Keynote – Realistic AI: Beyond the Hype Cycle

Aaron’s keynote challenged the audience to rethink their AI ambitions through the lens of EA discipline. Referencing Gartner’s AI trends, he warned against hype cycles and instead advocated for a foundational EA approach that ensures AI is scalable, secure, and aligned with business priorities.

 

Assisted EA in Action: Powered by Bizzdesign

Presented by Thomas Berlivet, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Bizzdesign

This session introduced Assisted EA, showing how automation, and guided execution tools are transforming the way architects work. NTUC AI Transformation Blueprint & CTC Grant

Presented by Reyes Leo, Assistant Director & Lead Consultant, NTUC

In the closing session, Reyes Leo introduced the AI Transformation Blueprint, an initiative supported by the Company Training Committee (CTC) Grant to help organisations adopt AI in a structured, responsible manner while developing internal workforce capabilities.

A key component of the blueprint is the integration of EA to ensure that AI initiatives are aligned with business strategy, scalable across departments, and supported by the right processes and governance. EA serves as the foundation for mapping capabilities, identifying transformation priorities, and enabling long-term value creation.
