DURATION: 3 Days (9am to 5pm)

CLASS SIZE: The recommended class size for this course is a maximum of 25 participants. The

minimum class size is 5 participants.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

A practical-oriented training approach is used in the delivery of this course, which may

include the following:

· Interactive Mini-Lecture

· Peer Sharing (Think-Pair-Share)

· Reflective Practice

ASSESSMENT:

· ArchiMate® 3 Part 1 – 40 multiple-choice questions in 1 hour.

· ArchiMate® 3 Part 2 – 8 scenario based, complex multiple-choice questions in 1 Hour 30 Minutes.

ATTENDANCE: Meet a minimum attendance of 75%

MODE OF TRAINING: Classroom / Synchronous e-learning

PREREQUISITES: None. Basic understanding of TOGAF® is recommended.

CERTIFICATION: Archimate@ 3 Foundation & Practitioner (Level 1 +2).

 

The Open Group ArchiMate® 3 is an open universal modelling language for Enterprise Architecture supported in use by myriad tool vendors and consulting firms. ArchiMate® 3 presents in an unambiguous way standardised EA diagrams to visualise, describe and analyse the whole range of architecture domains including their various dependencies and relationships.

In this course you will learn the principles and concepts behind the ArchiMate® 3 EA notational language and apply them to The Open Group TOGAF standard framework. They are the methodology and framework with which architects can represent the views and concerns of all stakeholders (especially those impacted by the change process) on the way to improving business efficiency.
