Workshop #1: Enterprise Trouble-shooting with Digital Enterprise Architecture
Date/Time: 20 September 2017/2.30pm to 3.30pm

The Digital Enterprise Architecture (DEA) is fast becoming the fastest growing and in demand management principle that is defining the effective and sustainable digital adoption for the organization or Governmental bodies. Enterprise Architects are responsible for architecting the digital enterprise in realizing the organizations’ strategies and objectives and realizing technology values to the business. IT roles and functions have changed in the last decade from a business enabler to become strategic necessity thus helping enterprises to improve in their business capabilities. Hence, the DEA adoption will bring together business and IT integration to deliver enterprise capabilities through strategic technology investment for the organization. The workshop objective is to equip participants with an insight knowledge on how to establish Digital Enterprise Architecture as a culture to drive continuous digital transformation with the “Live Digital Enterprise Map”.

Workshop #2: Business Technology Strategy Integration to Drive Digital Transformation
Date/Time: 20 September 2017/3.30pm to 4.30pm

In today digital era, the disconnect between business & Technology strategies (BTS) can have a crippling effect on the enterprise. To avoid such pitfalls, the organization must connect and integrate both the business and technology strategic planning so that the organization can embark into continuous digital transformation and to be protected from any disruptions that may come our way. This will ensure the realization of the BTS through the identification and the establishment of desired capabilities.

As we approach the complexities of the digital transformation, the need to bridge the gap between BTS and execution has moved from being a “nice to have” to absolute necessity. The workshop objective is to equip participants with an insight knowledge on how Digital Enterprise Architecture enables an organization to orchestrate it’s BTS across the business, data, application and technology domains. With focus on the realization of the organization strategy, the realization of digital transformation shifts decision making around technology investments from a tactical to a strategic process.
